At Baby Parent Steps, we offer the research-backed educational program known as PEKiP® | Prague Parent-Child Program. This renowned program promotes your baby’s natural early development through sensory-motor stimulation, age-appropriate activities, and playful interactions between parents and babies during the crucial first year and beyond.

Our interactive classes focus on supporting first-time and new parents, as well as caregivers, in helping their rapidly growing babies reach naturally essential milestones in all areas, including physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. So, no need to purchase big fancy new toys… Unless you really want you (and we both know those toys are actually for the parents anyways.) LOL!!! I know that all babies are different in how they respond to different types of stimulation but I cannot imagine any parent-baby combo this couldn’t work for. Meet Laura Liebig

Founder of Baby Parent Steps |BPS, Certified PEKiP ® Educator and Certified Educational Social Worker|New Parent Practical Supporter.

Hi, I’m Laura. As a mother of two young adults, I’ve been where you are — navigating the whirlwind of early parenting. After receiving my social work certification, counseling parents and their children while working at the Department of Education in Germany, and having my first baby, I embarked on the path that brought me to where I am today. It all began in 2000 when I participated in PEKiP® |Prague Parent-Child Program classes with my first and later with my second sweet baby. I experienced the reassuring support and guidance this wonderful program provided firsthand. Feeling empowered by understanding my baby’s natural development and finding peace of mind as a new mom is the spark that brought me back to this program years later.

Moving to the U.S. and watching my daughters grow up, I wanted to share the transformative early parenting services I had access to in Germany with new parents in my new community. Fascinated by babies’ rapid development and inspired by the leading European infant practices, I became certified as a PEKiP® educator. My passion and love for babies fueled my energy to translate, introduce, and establish the German PEKiP® parenting program in the United States in 2015. Dedicated to empowering new parents, I provide transformative Brain-Body-Bonding experiences and equip you with practical skills to support your baby’s natural development. This commitment led me to found Baby Parent Steps – a trusted resource to help new parents and caregivers thrive amidst the uncertainties of the baby’s first year of life and beyond.

Early parenthood is a unique time in our lives. With the arrival of a baby, everything is changing, and I am here to guide you through the start of a once-in-a-lifetime, memorable journey.
